Tank Installation

Selecting the optimal tank size, placement, and service for your home or business is effortless with LP Propane.

What to Expect During Your Tank Installation

We are committed to the safety of our customers and employees through each stage of your tank installation.

Preparing for Installation

While onboarding, a LP Propane Customer Service Professional will assist in determining the proper safety parameters to keep in mind when deciding where to place your new propane tank. Prior to the installation day, all propane appliances must be installed for your LP Propane Service Technician to complete your connection and conduct a final inspection.

Installation Day

The service technician will transport the tank to your site with a volume of less than 5% of the tank’s total capacity. After the tank is set and leveled in the agreed-upon location, our technician will connect a pressure-regulated gas line to the piping connection on the outside of your structure. The system will be leak tested and safety checked, then a delivery will be scheduled to fill your newly installed tank with propane.

Final Inspection

Following a final test and safety inspection, the installers will check appliances for proper operation, light any pilot lights, review the installation with you, and answer any questions you may have.

Owning your propane tank provides a higher level of independence but it also comes with headaches. As sole owner, you are responsible for service and maintenance fees that would otherwise be covered when renting your tank from LP Propane. Convenience and peace of mind accompany any LP Propane tank rental. If your leased tank malfunctions, the experts at LP Propane are a chat, email, or phone call away to remedy the issue.

With a LP Propane Tank Installation you have the choice of placing your tank above or underground. Though the final choice depends on many factors, there are benefits of each to consider. Following a quick installation process, an aboveground propane tank is easy to maintain and service. An underground propane tank requires slightly longer installation time but benefits from a natural temperature control that keeps your tank cooler in the summer.

Finding the right tank size for your home can be stressful. Our team of experts can help guide you through our flexible options to fit your unique needs.
